Scottish Clan Scarf : Murray Of Atholl Modern
- Available to order
Material is 100% wool. Descended from a Flemish nobleman, the clan was granted lands in Moray, in the north of Scotland. They became firmly identified with the cause of Scotland's freedom, with clan chief Sir Andrew Murray fighting at the side of William Wallace at the battle of Stirling Bridge in 1297, while Sir George Murray was Lieutenant General of Bonnie Prince Charlie's Jacobite army during the 1745 Risings.
The brief history of the clan is written on label along with the motto and crest.
