Scottish Clan Scarf : Moffat Modern
- Out of stock
This material is 100% wool. With roots firmly embedded in the soil of the Scottish Borders, the Moffats were at the forefront of Scotland's long and bitter struggle with its English neighbour during the thirteenth and fourteenth century Wars of Independence. When not battling the common foe, they also gained a fearsome reputation as reivers, or raiders, and were frequently punished for their lawlessness.
The brief history of the clan is written on label along with the motto and crest.
